New Formula as of 7/28/08:

• Average 3rd place finals time for the last 5 years
• 2nd Team is 102% of 1st Team time.

Guidelines:

1. A time/score must be achieved in one event during a meet approved by the NDHSAA. (This does not include intrasquads, alumni meets, time trials, etc.)
2. Only individual events must be considered.
3. Grades 7 - 12 are eligible.
4. To qualify for the award an athlete must be eligible at the conclusion of the state meet.
