Jamestown Children's Choir
Sunshine Girls’ and Jamestown Boy's Choirs
December 12-Jamestown High School Theater
6:00 p.m. Girls' Choir parent volunteers meet on stage to set up risers. (Those parents-Girls' Choir who volunteered to help set up risers for this event)
6:15 p.m. Choir members arrive at H.S. Choir Room. It is important choir members are there ready to sing by 6:15 p.m.
MEET in CHOIR ROOM: To get to the H.S. Choir room, please use the main doors to the High School. The Music Wing is next to the Theatre, the choir room is the last door on the left.
COATS: Coats may be left in the Choir Room, Hall outside Choir Room or with your parents.
UNIFORMS: Please refer to uniform instructions below.
ACTIVITY FEE: Activity Fee for choir is due on December 12th. Pay this fee at your elementary school's office.
Choir members should use the doors to the Middle School on the West side of the building. (flag pole side) These are the only doors open to students. Choir members should go straight down the hall down the steps. The room is the 2nd door on the Right side of the hall after the steps.
BUSSES WILL TAKE STUDENTS TO THEIR SCHOOL AFTER REHEARSAL.
- The doors to the Middle School open by 7:10 a.m.
- Doors to the school open by 7:10 a.m.
- Mrs. Meidinger may not be at school before 7:15. If you should arrive before 7:10 am, please know there may not be adult supervision for you and you may not be able to get in the door. Choir students are expected to be seated on the choir benches until the teacher arrives.
- Please be prompt! Rehearsals begin at 7:30 a.m.
- Singers should be seated and ready to sing by 7:30 a.m.
SCHEDULES: The choir meets to practice twice a week.

ACTIVITY FEE: DO NOT PAY FEE on the first day of choir
There is an activity fee for elementary choir members as set by the Jamestown School Board. Please check with your school’s principal or secretary at your school office about the amount the fee will be for your family. The fee varies according to a family’s financial situation. Pay this fee at YOUR SCHOOL’S OFFICE after you find out what your student/s fee is. The secretary at your school will process your fee. Students from St. John’s should also give their payment to their school secretary.
Please do not bring your payment to choir rehearsal.
The standard fee is $50 for each choir member. The reason for this fee being larger than other elementary fees is because our season is eight months long rather than eight weeks as compared to other activities. Remember to check with your school’s principal about the fees and the cap on total fees for each student.
Checks should be made payable to Jamestown Public Schools
I am looking forward to our first rehearsal together. It should be a great year for the Jamestown Boys’ Choir & the Sunshine Girls’ Choir.
