Registration
The Jamestown Public School’s district registration office was created to register all new and returning students. Registration Is open throughout the school year. It is a place that parents can get the information they need to transition their student(s) into the school district.

School year 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
Summer hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday & 7:30 am – 1:30 pm Fridays.

K-12 Pre-Registration
In accordance with ND Century Code 15.1-06-01, children who will be five years of age by August 1 are eligible to register for the fall school term.
Jamestown Public Schools does not have a public preschool program.
Step 1: Click blue online registration Button above. Complete information, Click Apply to School Button to submit. (blue box link)
Step 2: You will receive an email from JPS.Registrar@k12.nd.us with steps to complete A-K registration forms. (Check Junk/Spam folder). The online process should take approximately 10-20 minutes per student.
Step 3: Our office will verify your submission and contact you to set up an appointment to finalize the registration. Appointment will be approximately 15 minutes.
Required Documents at the time of your appointment:
- Immunization Records : Required by State Law
- Proof of Age: A certified birth certificate is required for all students. (The legal name of the student as shown on the certified birth certificate will be entered in the student record. Changes to the original birth certificate must be supported by a court document.)

Custody Paper if applicable to your student(s). Parents/Guardians please bring proper identification with you to the registration appointment.
School records and original transcripts are required of secondary students and recommended for elementary students. Recent periods of non-school attendance must be accounted for. Jamestown School District MUST receive secondary school records prior to enrollment into classes.
