Jamestown Public School has convened a Citizen's Advisory Committee to evaluate the District's facilities. The goal is to provide up-to-date environments that will support our educational goals. The committee also recommends improving safety, security, handicap accessibility and systems at the end of their useful life.

Security Improvements

  1. New Accessible Sidewalk
    • 24" rise, 40' long, 4' wide switchback concrete sidewalk / ramp
  2. New Electronic Access
    • Key Fob Entrance
  3. New Secure Entry
    1. Electronic locks on existing interior vestibule doors
    2. New panic hardware on existing interior vestibule doors
    3. New door in existing aluminum storefront frame
      1. Cut concrete curb at base
  4. New Alarm / Panic Button at Existing Office Desks
    1. Two locations
    2. Tied into fire alarm system
